Where is Playacar?
Located on the south side of Playa del Carmen, this gated community is known for its upscale residential villas, all-inclusive resorts, and luxury golf clubs. AWA PLAYACAR RESIDENCES is a luxury residential project that offers 230 condominiums in the beautiful surroundings of Playacar. Playa Del Carmen is about 20 minutes drive from the Cancun airport (40 min with traffic), and boat ride away from Cozumel Island, Isla Mujeres, and many other tourist destinations.
How many bedrooms are available in the condo?
3 large bedrooms (1 bedroom with king size bed, 1 bedroom with 2 twin beds, and master bedroom with king size bed in mezzanine) + an open concept kitchen\living room. Double terrace with private parking.
How large is the condo?
2,300 sq ft.
How many people can fit comfortably in the condo?
There is room for 6 adults and room for a pack and play for a baby/toddler.
How many bathrooms?
Each room has its own ensuit bathroom and shower attached.
With what is the condo equipped?
The condo is fully equipped with all your living needs with ample closet spaces and hotel quality design. A washer/dryer, iron + ironing board, hangers, towels, linens, shampoos, and soaps are all included.
Are there a any discounts for week-long rentals?
Yes. Please contact us directly for special week-long discounts.
Is the luxury kosher condo available for Pesach/Yeshiva week (Yeshiva-cation)?
Yes. However, they need to be booked for the entire duration of Pesach/Yeshiva week including the 24 hours before and after.
If you book on our site for less than that, please be prepared to receive a cancelation email shortly after and a refund for your payment.
Is the kitchen kosher?
Yes. the kitchen is fully stocked with Glatt kosher dishes for meat or parve use only. For “Milchig” (dairy) foods, please use disposable only. A kosher coffee maker and Shabbos hot water urn are available.
Are there any Kosher establishments and ready to eat kosher food in nearby?
Yes. There are several kosher restaurants, a kosher minim market, kosher UberEATS and catering available within Playa. You can book an eat-in or take-out Friday night and Shabbat meal with the Chabad House. Highly recommended. There are kosher restaurants in the nearby islands such as Cozumel and Isla Mujeres.
Are there any issues with the door key on Shabbos?
No, the keys are simple non-digital and may be used on Shabbos. To avoid carrying on Shabbos you may leave the key with the concierge desk.
Is there a Shul and Jewish services nearby?
Yes. There are daily Minyanim and Chabad Shul’s within 15-20 minutes walk or 5 minutes drive with full Jewish services available. Contact the Chabad house for more information.
Is there an Eruv in Playacar or Playa Del Carmen?
No, unfortunately, there is no Eruv in Playa Del Carmen including Playacar.
Is there a Mikvah in Playa?

Do we have access to the beach?
Yes. Enjoy a complimentary golf cart transportation within Playacar and direct access to the private Beach Club.

Is the area safe for tourists?
Playacar is an exclusive privately gated residential area for tourists alike. Most of the residents and tourists visiting Playacar are Western citizens and expats. The Playacar residents is under 24/7 surveillance with full security on site.

Is there a minimum or maximum stay limit?
During low season periods, minimum stay is 3 nights. During high season/Jewish holidays minimum 7 days.
Is a security deposit required?
Yes. A $500 security deposit is required. Upon leaving the condo, the property manager will inspect the condo to insure that there are no damages/violations.
Is smoking allowed?
Indoor smoking is prohibited. Smoking is allowed only by the outdoor porch.
What if I require extra cleaning?
The condo will be cleaned and stocked prior to your arrival. If you require extra cleaning services during your stay, a $60 fee per cleaning will apply.
In what currency will I be charged with?
All payments will be made in USD. Payments are made through PayPal.
